1 Strand = approximately 40 beads. 2.5mm holes.
These beads are made from howlite. Howlite, is a silicate mineral often used to replicate turquoise. In nature, howlite is white or grey with dark stripes. This mineral has a porous structure that allows it to accept dyes uncommonly well. Because of the characteristic streaks found in turquoise, howlite makes an excellent substitute for it. Howlite and Turquoise are nearly identical, and it's difficult telling them apart in absence of ultra-violet (UV) testing.
